Unrelated to Installation Art; I just wanted to show this really cool video of someone painting the Mona Lisa using MS Paint. It can be found here.

I think it's pretty awesome how someone can use the simplest (might I say hardest to use and worst) art application to create/imitate something considered to be a very great art piece, the Mona Lisa.

I think installation art is any type of art that makes viewers perceive space in a different sense.

Here are some examples:

This is a playground designed by a Netherlands-based team called Carve.

This is the Google headquarters called the Googleplex.

This is a Wii ad put up all around the city called "Wii'il Remember" featuring some old school game characters made of post-it notes.

This is the Film and Media Research Center of the University of London's Birkbeck College.

These are some balconies on the Slovenian Coast.

Over the summer I did a program at CCA (California College of Arts)
and they had a visiting artist, who if you look at her web sit has some pretty
cool installation art with doilies and tanks.

I used to listen to Pandora's radio station, but then one day they wouldn't service the international crowd. So we got cut off. But Lydia (i think it was lydia) inspired me with this website that absolutely rocks! Last FM: it's your own personal DJ, plus you can see what other users are listening to. Great thing to have when you're making your art!
